New IRP project approved: Flows in the Construction Sector

A new VUB Interdisciplinary Research Programme will investigate how flows of people, materials and capital have shaped the construction of Brussels from the nineteenth century to today. The project builds on the earlier IRP projects Building Brussels and Re-Building Brussels and continues the collaboration between VUB research groups Architectural Engineering, Cosmopolis, and Social History of Capitalism (SHOC).
